JENNIFER BOYSEN veils and unveils. Many of her works are canvas stretched over made or found structures. Their matte surfaces absorb light to suggest desert landscapes, moon splotches, weathered sigils still aglow with old magic. Recent works take their solitude from Montana’s winters, where falling snow turns all objects into vague shapes with indefinite borders. This is where she lives.
