Strata Editions is an experimental photography project and store that presents new, evolving, and revolving collections of photo books, photographic prints, and art objects three times a year. Strata Editions is designed to serve as a reading room for anyone who passes through its physical and online doors. By presenting visual and material work through a thematic lens, we offer a space in which to consider the relationships between photography, self, environment, and production—the land and the materials around us. The books and photographs that we select tell us stories about ourselves, and about how we tell stories.
